EON SPACE VENTURES · SIMULATION PROCEDUREFilter and collection box service with lid recovery
ESV-S07-SOP-02 · Lunar ISRU plant · model v4 · 12 steps
Practise servicing the front filter and collection box as one controlled cold-work sequence. Recover a mismatched lid state before restoring the collection path and recording handover evidence.
Concept-model training and authoring specification. Real hardware operations require the programme owner’s approved procedure and engineering limits.
Before the exercise
Use an unpowered, cold, empty training configuration with no pressure or hazardous contents. Supply which filter and collector groups are removable, their parked poses, contamination-state cards and closure criteria. Real material handling and sealing requirements require programme sources.
1 Identify the collection route
Model labels: front_filter, separator, collection_box, outlet_tube
Trace the model collection path and select the filter, separator, collector and outlet references. Save the starting state.
Check: A correct route must be recorded before either service area opens.
2 Establish the empty service condition
Model labels: main_cabinet, collection_box, separator
Read the supplied cold, isolated and empty-state record and acknowledge the controlled service scope.
Check: The learner must not infer an empty or pressure-free condition from appearance.
3 Prepare the filter access
Model labels: front_filter, filter_latch_left, filter_latch_right
Identify both filter latches and preview the author-defined filter removal and parking path.
Check: Filter movement is blocked while either retention state remains engaged.
4 Release and remove the filter
Model labels: filter_latch_left, filter_latch_right, front_filter
Release the two latches in the reviewed sequence and move the filter group into its declared parked pose.
Check: Record both latch transitions and the correct filter-group movement.
5 Review the exposed filter interface
Model labels: front_filter, separator_flange, separator
Compare the exposed interface and supplied condition card, then select the reviewed clean or replace training branch.
Check: The decision must cite the condition card and stay within the service scope.
6 Restore the filter assembly
Model labels: front_filter, filter_latch_left, filter_latch_right
Return the accepted filter group to its seated pose and restore both latch states before collector access.
Check: Seat and retention states must match before the next area opens.
7 Open the collector in sequence
Model labels: collection_lid, collector_latch_left, collector_latch_right
Release the two collector latches and move its lid to the authored access pose. Keep the restored filter fixed.
Check: Opening the lid before both latches release is rejected.
8 Resolve the mismatched lid state
Model labels: collection_lid, collection_box, collector_latch_right
Present a lid pose that appears closed while the right latch remains released. Place a hold and identify the conflicting states.
Check: Visual closure alone cannot clear the service hold.
9 Complete the collector service
Model labels: collection_box, separator, outlet_flange
Apply the reviewed empty-collector service action, preserving the separator and outlet interface references.
Check: The action and any condition decision must be recorded before refit.
10 Restore the lid and latches
Model labels: collection_lid, collector_latch_left, collector_latch_right
Return the lid to its saved seated pose, engage both latches and request review of the corrected closure state.
Check: The hold clears only when pose and both retention states agree.
11 Verify the complete route
Model labels: front_filter, collection_box, separator_flange, outlet_flange
Compare the final filter, collector and route interfaces with the baseline and supplied completion checklist.
Check: Missing retention or an unresolved condition card prevents completion.
12 Submit the service handover
Model labels: front_filter, collection_lid, collection_box, skid
Submit the two service records, lid-state discrepancy, corrected closure and model revision for the next operator.
Check: The handover identifies every changed component and its final state.
Assessment and completion
Score route and part selection 20, controlled service order 25, lid-state recovery 25, restored configuration 20 and handover 10. Unknown isolation, unsupported opening or acceptance of an unlatched lid is a critical stop.
Authoring and headless handoff
Author removable groups and retention states rather than assuming detailed cartridge internals. Condition and contamination cards remain separate from geometry. This exercise does not establish seal integrity, pressure capability or real material cleanliness; use programme test records where needed.
Reuse the exact GLB and part identifiers. Verify the supported Genesis import and binding path before generation. These are procedure specifications; they do not claim a completed Genesis run.
